Ho un uncinetto in mano da quando avevo otto anni.
Riesco ancora a percepire la pazienza di mia madre e mia nonna mentre guidavano le mie piccole dita attraverso quei primi punti irregolari. Non mi hanno solo insegnato un mestiere; mi hanno insegnato che si può costruire un mondo con un singolo filo di lana.
Quando ho iniziato a cucire durante il corso di economia domestica al liceo, è nata una nuova ossessione. Da allora, il mio percorso creativo è stato una meravigliosa e caotica lezione di "tentativi ed errori". Non mi interessa la perfezione clinica, mi interessa l'anima del punto.
Stitched by pound nasce dall'amore per il retrò, lo stile boho e la funzionalità. Non creo oggetti solo per essere guardati o conservati in una teca di vetro. Creo oggetti per essere vissuti. I’ve had a crochet hook in my hand since I was eight years old.
I can still feel the patience of my mom and grandmother as they guided my tiny fingers through those first wonky stitches. They didn’t just teach me a craft; they taught me that you can build a world with a single strand of yarn.
When I picked up sewing in High School Home Ec, a new obsession took hold. Since then, my creative journey has been a beautiful, messy "trial by error" masterclass. I’m not about clinical perfection—I’m about the soul of the stitch.
Stitched by LB was born from a love for the retro, the boho, and the functional. I don’t make things just to be looked at or kept in a glass case. I make things to be lived in.
