Welkom bij StudioWAKEApp. Mijn naam is Kensyun en ik heb meer dan 30 jaar gewijd aan de kunst van de Japanse kalligrafie. Als professioneel kalligrafiedocent in Japan heb ik een groot deel van mijn leven besteed aan het begeleiden van studenten om hun eigen expressie te vinden door middel van het penseel.
Voor mij is kalligrafie meer dan alleen het schrijven van letters; het is een spirituele oefening om de energie van het moment vast te leggen. In Japan geloven we dat woorden een ziel hebben (Kotodama). Elke penseelstreek die ik zet, is doordrenkt met een gebed voor de persoon die het zal ontvangen.
