El hogar es un lugar importante. Quiero que mi hogar me haga sentir bien y refleje quién soy. Ten-Seventy es lo que mi familia llama el hogar que ha sido nuestro epicentro durante tres generaciones; aquí es donde mis abuelos criaron a mi madre y sus hermanas, donde cualquier persona en la familia es bienvenida a vivir cuando lo necesite, donde he pasado cada Navidad, innumerables tardes de verano y donde mis hijos juegan con sus abuelos. Ten-Seventy siempre se ha sentido como en casa y ese es el sentimiento que quiero compartir con ustedes a través de mis creaciones.
Acerca de mí: Soy nativa de California y vivo con mi maravilloso esposo y adorables pequeños. Trabajo en mi pequeño estudio casero donde hago todo yo mismo en pequeñas colecciones creadas conscientemente.
A riesgo de sonar demasiado artístico-, desde pequeño he utilizado las artes, la artesanía y la creación para conectarme conmigo mismo e interpretar el mundo que me rodea. Me encanta experimentar con medios como pintura acrílica, carbón, acuarela, soplado de vidrio, carpintería, metalistería y, por supuesto, cerámica. Mi esperanza es utilizar mi título en Arte y Diseño y una década trabajando en el negocio del arte para ofrecer piezas atemporales y sofisticadas que complementen su estilo y decoración.
Home is an important place. I want my home to make me feel good and reflect who I am. Ten-Seventy is what my family calls the home that has been our epicenter for three generations; this is where my grandparents raised my mom and her sisters, where anyone in the family is welcome to live when they need to, where I have spent every single Christmas, countless summer afternoons, and where my sons play with their grandparents. Ten-Seventy has always felt like home and that is the feeling I want to share with you through my creations.
About me: I am a California native and live with my wonderful husband and adorable littles. I toil in my small home studio where I make everything myself in small consciously created collections.
At the risk of sounding too artsy-fartsy, since I was little I have used arts, crafts and creating to connect to myself and interpret the world around me. I love experimenting with media including acrylic paint, charcoal, watercolor, glassblowing, woodworking, metalwork and of course ceramics. My hope is to use my degree in Art & Design and a decade working in the art business to offer timeless and sophisticated pieces that will compliment your style and decor.
