ThaCopShop empezó como un local de reventa de ropa vintage. Me encantaba buscar y encontrar las mejores piezas vintage por mi ciudad, pero con el tiempo fui perdiendo el interés. A medida que eso sucedía, me fui interesando más en la reparación de ropa, experimentando con telas y experimentando con patrones de costura a diario.

Me di cuenta de que sentarme detrás de una máquina de coser y crear era mucho más divertido que cualquier otra cosa que estuviera haciendo en ese momento. Así que me arriesgué y me entregué por completo a mi oficio para ver adónde me llevaba. Ahora, llevo dos años trabajando a tiempo completo en algo que me apasiona y que nadie puede quitarme.

ThaCopShop began as a vintage reselling joint. I loved sourcing and hunting for the best vintage pieces around my city, but over time I slowly lost interest. As that happened, I found myself getting more into clothing repairs, experimenting with fabrics, and playing with sewing patterns on the daily.

I realized that sitting behind a sewing machine and creating was far more enjoyable than anything else I was doing at the time. So I took a risk and went all in on my craft to see where it would take me. Now, I’m two years in, working full-time on something that I love and nobody can take away from me.
