I'm proud to be a true craftswoman
Hace 13 años empecé a esculpir con arcilla polimérica y fue entonces cuando abrí mi tienda en Etsy. Mi primera venta fue la quinta figurita que hice, ¡fue una experiencia increíble! Desde entonces, me he enganchado. Vender mi trabajo online me ha dado muchísima libertad. Me levanto cada día con ganas de crear.
Durante todos estos años, mi trabajo ha evolucionado continuamente, pues mi principal objetivo es siempre perfeccionar mi técnica. Me encanta experimentar con nuevos materiales y métodos, y ahora creo piezas con materiales ecológicos. Todos mis diseños se esculpen originalmente a mano. Muchos se convierten en moldes y se funden en un material resistente a base de minerales, similar al yeso. Pinto meticulosamente a mano cada pieza, asegurándome de que tengan el aspecto y la sensación de una obra artesanal de alta calidad. Tras más de una década creando casi a diario y vendiendo miles de piezas, mi trabajo es muy intencional, cuidando cada detalle.
Más allá de la propia creación de los objetos, me inspira profundamente la nostalgia de crecer en los años 80 y 90. Antes de que los ordenadores y los efectos especiales por ordenador lo invadieran todo, teníamos marionetas, animación stop motion y arte auténtico que no estaba sepultado por la burocracia de la industria cinematográfica. Existía la verdadera magia del cine entonces, y cuando creo, me siento conectado con esa capacidad de asombro infantil. También me inspiran los animales y el mundo natural, porque la naturaleza es la mejor artista y vivimos en un planeta extraño y maravilloso. Me maravillo cada día.

13 years ago I started sculpting with polymer clay and that's when I opened my Etsy shop. My first sale ever was the 5th figurine I made, which was a total high. From then on I've been hooked. Selling my work online has given me so much freedom. I wake up every day excited to create.
In all these years my work has continuously evolved, because my number one goal is always perfecting my craft. I love experimenting with new materials and methods and now I'm creating casts made with environmentally friendly materials. All my designs are originally sculpted by hand. Many are made into molds and cast in a strong, mineral based casting material similar to plaster. I meticulously hand paint every item, ensuring they have that look and feel of well crafted, handmade work. After spending over a decade creating almost every day, and selling thousands of pieces, my work is very intentional with every detail considered.
Aside from the actual fabrication of the items, I'm heavily inspired by the nostalgia of growing up in the 80s and 90s. Back before we had computers and CGI takeover, we had puppets, stop motion, and true art that wasn't buried by the bureaucracy of the film industry. There was real movie magic back then and when I create I feel connected to that childhood sense of wonder. I'm also inspired by animals and the natural world, because nature is the best artist and we live on a weird and wonderful planet. I'm in awe every single day.
