How Dizzy Frog came to be...
The name "dizzy frog" was inspired by my very first "creature" project. I came across a pattern for a frog when I was pregnant with my baby and I ended up making it for him. The final outcome was a frog with dizzy-looking eyes. It was an instant hit with both my son, friends and family.
I was inspired to make more dizzy frogs and other creatures. I love watching them come alive as I crochet. They take a few hours to make from start to finish, crocheting all the components and then stuffing and stitching them all together. Each one is made with love and anticipation and each one is unique in its own special way.
I have since branched out to baby hats (both knitted and crocheted) and other accessories for babies, children and adults.
~*~ About Me!~*~
I am a thirty-something year old, fun-loving girl, who learned how to crochet at a young age and have just recently taken it up again since being married to my wonderful husband of over a decade. I am a stay at home mommy to my wonderful August '08 and March '12 sons. I also enjoy knitting and other crafts - I love working with my hands! I especially enjoy making things for my little boys and my many nieces and nephews - whether it be blankets, hats, wall art, onsies or toys.
