Ho sempre amato creare. Mia nonna era un'artista e musicista straordinaria, tra le altre cose. Aveva sempre cose furbe da fare per noi e potevo sempre trovare un grosso pezzo di argilla con cui giocare nel suo capannone in qualsiasi momento. Era una maestra in molte cose della vita. Il suo nome è Fern Adele ed è la mia ispirazione.
Da quando ho avuto figli i miei occhi si sono aperti a tutti i prodotti mainstream che stavo usando su e nel mio corpo. Ho scelto di condurre una vita più naturale e di insegnarla ai miei figli. Nel 2012 ho iniziato a partecipare a un mercato verde locale qui in Virginia e mi godo ogni minuto di esso.
Attualmente sono uno studente di aromaterapia e prodotti biologici per la cura del corpo presso la East West School per studi erboristici e aromatici. Mi piace leggere dalla mia vasta biblioteca di libri a base di erbe e sono un membro di herbmentor.com. Continuo a studiare e acquisire quante più conoscenze possibili sull'uso di erbe, botanici e oli per la bellezza naturale.
Ho aperto un negozio etsy alcuni anni fa quando lavoravo a maglia e vendevo una manciata di articoli. L'ho chiuso quando ho avuto i miei figli, ma l'ho riaperto per condividere i miei talenti e condividere i miei oggetti con coloro che vivono uno stile di vita simile al mio. Adoro le idee di fatto a mano, sostenibile, riutilizzabile, riciclabile e verde e mi piacerebbe condividerle con voi.
I've always loved to create. My grandmother was an amazing artist & musician amongst other things. She always had crafty stuff for us to do and I could always find a big chunk of clay to play with in her shed at any moments notice. She was a master at many things in life. Her name is Fern Adele and she is my inspiration.
Since having children my eyes opened up to all the mainstream products I was using on and in my body. I chose to lead a more natural life and to teach that to my kids. In 2012 I started participating in a local green market here in Virginia and I enjoy every minute of it.
I am currently an aromatherapy and organic body care products student at the East West School for herbal and aromatic studies. I enjoy reading from my extensive library of herbal books and I am a member at herbmentor.com. I continue to study and gain as much knowledge as I can about the use of herbs, botanicals & oils for natural beauty.
I opened up a etsy shop a few years ago when I was knitting and sold a handful of items. I closed it down when I had my kids but opened it back up to share my talents and share my items with those who live a similar lifestyle as myself. I love the ideas of handmade, sustainable, reusable, recyclable & green and I'd love to share it with you.
