I spend most of my days painting and dreaming.
My mixed media portraits draw from my Native American ancestry. My paintings have lots of beautiful texture, colorful painterly brush strokes, many layers and a soulful healing message. Captivated by forests, most of my paintings have a serene narrative with a soulful message. My paintings are poetic, expressive and intentionally aged to obtain an old world charm. I like anything vintage or antique so I try to put a lot of texture and distress into the work that I create. I want you to feel you've discovered a relic from your grandmother's attic. They are messy & beautiful, distressed & imperfect, yet charming. If you like that style, you will love my work! I am also passionate about facilitating fun, creative and healing art workshops, too!. I am an artist and creator of beautiful things!
Each painting tells an untold story about women in a way that words cannot. You may see yourself in my paintings. They are meant to evoke a feeling of peacefulness, warmth and trust. Other times they are meant to show an open, vulnerable heart, where pain and recovery lead to healing. All my paintings are mixed media with a compelling narrative, many vibrant colors, with lots of beautiful texture.
When I'm not painting, I like to share my love of art by teaching arts & crafts to seniors, volunteering and traveling with my husband and son. I paint every day with a grateful heart & firmly believe kindness is always the answer. When you buy my paintings, you are buying a powerful piece of survival, healing and triumph.

I do not adjust my listings in any way based on your suggestion for a discount of any type. I do not negotiate my prices or make special arrangements for drop off or pick up of items sold. I will not make in-person arrangement. I sell online only, on a first come, first serve basis. All my images and artwork are copyrighted, meaning reproduction is not an option, nor using my images for printing, posting, or personal use is allowed. Buying one of my paintings does not give you the image copyright. Should you like a painting but cannot afford one, I do happily offer payment plans for a $20 fee to set one up. Once you have put a down payment on a painting, I will put it on reserve and no one else will be able to purchase it but you. Thank you so much!
