CIAO! Mi chiamo Francisca e sono la piccola sognatrice dietro il piccolo negozio d'arte delle tartarughe. Creare e condividere la mia arte con il mondo è sempre stato un mio grande sogno e questo piccolo negozio è l'inizio del mio viaggio per arrivarci.
Stampe d'arte, gioielli, adesivi, mini dipinti, sculture e qualsiasi altro hobby che decido di raccogliere in un giorno a caso, è ciò che costituisce l'opera d'arte disponibile per la vendita nel mio negozio. Nelle mie opere d'arte amo incorporare la natura e la scienza in tutto il suo splendore e spero di creare illustrazioni scientifiche in futuro per educare su vari argomenti. Mi piace anche molto fare tante piccole cose carine. Il sogno è quello di avere un giorno un mio negozio di mattoni e malta pieno di arte e piante e tartarughe e cose e forse alcuni gatti? ... qualunque cosa sia, so che inizia qui e inizia con te, quindi grazie per essere qui!
Raccontami un po' di me, potresti chiedere? Sono un portoghese canadese di 21 anni che vive in Ontario Canada. Ho una forte passione per l'arte, la biologia, gli scherzi e l'umorismo che a volte solo io trovo divertenti. Oh, e adoro davvero le tartarughe :)
Un'altra parte molto reale della mia storia è essere un creatore disabile. Ho la sindrome di Ehlers Danlos ipermobile (hEDS) che è un disturbo del tessuto connettivo che colpisce tutti i sistemi del mio corpo. Per far breve una spiegazione molto lunga, ho dolore cronico, stanchezza cronica e debolezza generale in tutto il mio corpo (tra molti altri sintomi molto divertenti...). Trovare un lavoro o qualsiasi fonte di reddito nelle mie condizioni è piuttosto difficile. Mi sono arrovellato il cervello per molto tempo e non ho trovato nulla che si adattasse alla mia disabilità e alle mie esigenze quotidiane (mentre perseguivo anche una laurea in biologia all'università) ... finché non ho capito che potevo creare qualcosa di mio! Così ho creato il mio piccolo negozio di arte delle tartarughe. dai! tutto risolto! miliardario istantaneo! ... wehelp una ragazza può sognare comunque. Scherzi a parte, questo è qualcosa che mi dà la possibilità di lavorare secondo le mie capacità e sono entusiasta e fiducioso di vedere dove va questo piccolo negozio. Spero che tu venga per il viaggio!
Se leggi tutto questo, allora sei davvero un soldato (come qualcuno con adhd invidio la tua capacità di attenzione). Ti apprezzo molto per esserti fermato e avermi sostenuto. Grazie mille per avermi aiutato a raggiungere il mio sogno :)

Hi! My name is Francisca and I am the little dreamer behind tiny turtle art shop. Creating and sharing my art with the world has always been a big dream of mine and this little shop is the start of my journey to get there.
Art prints, jewelry, stickers, mini paintings, sculptures, and any other hobby I decide to pick up on a random day, is what constitutes the artwork available for sale in my shop. In my artwork I love to incorporate nature and science in all its glory and hope to create scientific illustrations in the future to educate on various topics. I also really like to make lots of little cute things. The dream is to someday have a brick and mortar shop of my own filled with art and plants and turtles and things and maybe some cats? ... whatever it is I know it starts here and it starts with you, so thanks for being here!
Tell me a little about myself you may ask? I am a 21 year old Portuguese Canadian living in Ontario Canada. I have a strong passion for art, biology and jokes and humor that sometimes only I find amusing. Oh, and I kinda really love turtles :)
Another very real part of my story is being a disabled creator. I have hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) which is a connective tissue disorder that effects all systems in my body. To make a very long explanation short, I have chronic pain, chronic fatigue and general weakness in my whole body (among many other very fun symptoms...). Finding a job or any source of income in my condition is pretty hard. I wracked my brain for a long while and came up with nothing that would fit my disability and daily needs (while also pursuing a degree in biology at university) ... until I realized I could create something of my own! So I made my tiny turtle art shop. ta da! all solved! instant billionaire! ... welp a girl can dream anyways. All jokes aside this is something that provides me with the ability to work within my abilities and I am excited and hopeful to see where this little shop goes. I hope you come along for the journey!
