A one-of-a-kind beaded necklace, featuring my handmade faux soapstone green horse artifact, sodalite stone beads, lapis lazuli (in the pendant), handmade beads, antique glass beads, and sterling silver.

I make each animal artifact, one at a time, and no two are exactly alike. So when you see "yours", grab it! Inspired by prehistoric cave art (especially the Lascaux Cave in France) my animals have stories. When I look back in time, I see what was going on in my life when that animal appeared. My horses say, "Courage! Be the artist you were meant to be!" This horse has my signature on the underside, and every horse has a miniature imprint of my hand, signifying their domestication and ancient history with humans.

Sodalite is not as saturated in color as lapis, but I found this: "The spiritual meanings of sodalite are wisdom, clarity of thought, creativity, and cosmic beauty...." Works for me!

No need to wash my artifacts, nor polish them. They are durable, and should survive a drop to the floor. But (horrors!) they CAN be scratched or smashed. Pretend they're made of ceramic, and you should be okay.

I like to use metals that are oxidized or antiqued, because that aged look works well with my aesthetic. Oxidation is simply patina. If you polish a piece with oxidized sterling silver or antiqued copper, you may remove that patina. Otherwise, it will simply get richer as you wear the piece.

It takes a little time, but yes, I can do that! Although each artifact and design is one of a kind, I can sometimes substitute a chain, add length to a necklace, swap out an element.

A 50% deposit is required on all custom and personalized orders. Full payment needed before order is sent. I can make the same adjustments as above--I want the piece to work for you!--but cannot accept returns on these orders (unless I seriously mess up your order, which has happened...never.)
