Soft, cozy, undyed and very warm winter hat made from 100% yak wool. The hat can be stretched up to a head circumference of 70 cm.
My products are made in Mongolia. Since the Mongolian yak live in the mountainous regions, they have to cope with extreme weather conditions between 30°C to -50°C. Yak wool is therefore heat-storing, temperature-regulating and breathable. The bovids, weighing up to 500 kg, impress with their massive bodies and calm and social disposition. About 300g of hair can be combed out of a yak and processed into yak yarn per year.
