4x4 House by Tadao Ando
The 4x4 house is a private residential house designed by the Japanese architect Tadao Ando and located in Tarumi-ku, Kobe, Hyogo, on the coast of the Inland Sea in Japan. Ando has taken a plan, 13 feet by 13 feet (4 x 4 m) - the maximum dimensions possible for the site - and created this iconic concrete and glass tower. This is an example of minimal architecture and it was inspired by the poetry of the Lighthouse.
