Additional information on garden furniture:
With freshly made, oiled garden furniture, the oil may not have fully penetrated the wood. If this furniture is then exposed to the elements (rain, snow, etc.), it is possible that the rainwater will wash away oil from the wood surface, which can then stain the paving.

With untreated oak wood, it is possible that the rainwater washes parts of the "tannic acid" out of the wood.
If this acid then comes into contact with concrete blocks, it may be that the concrete reacts with the acid and this then leads to stains. These spots usually disappear over time.
Please also note that oak wood that is constantly exposed to rain, snow and wind will "weather" over time (it will turn greyish)
