Kul – att bygga en Box Ed är kanske den roligaste delen. Vi har alla en liten gnutta Dr. Frankenstein inom oss och att bygga en Box Ed låter dig leka ut denna fantasi. Men Box Eds har också designats för att ge dig massor av förändring, och när du väl visas upp kommer din Box Ed att få dig att se ut som den coolaste katten i köket eller den hetaste hunden i restaurangen!
Samlarobjekt – Jag har ofta livliga drömmar om en värld skapad med Box Eds! Jag har skissböcker fulla av idéer för andra karaktärer, varelser och teman som ni goda människor kan samla på och skapa fler och fler Box Eds!
Funktionell – Glädjen med en Box Ed ligger inte bara i hantverket. När den väl är konstruerad är en Box Ed ett vackert föremål att avguda för att den gör det den är bäst på, helt enkelt för att vara en Box Ed! Men en Box Ed är inte bara ett vackert ansikte, åh min svindlande faster nej! Den har dolda djup eller snarare uppenbara djup faktiskt. Den kan enkelt anpassas för att användas som förvaring för kontorsmaterial, pengar eller läskgodis. Box Eds kan också användas som actionfigurer och dockor för rollspel och berättande.
Pedagogiskt – det finns en lite mer seriös sida av allt detta, jag är en designer med lite djup, ni vet! Box Eds introducerar barn till hur 2D-former skapar 3D-former. Aktiviteten låter barn utveckla sina finmotoriska färdigheter genom att klippa, vika och klistra. Den lär dem tålamod och noggrannhet, hur man använder och kombinerar material och ger dem en verklig känsla av prestation när de är klara. Inkluderingen av en tom mall i varje paket ger den kreativa friheten att designa en unik, anpassad Box Ed.

Box Eds Paper Crafts create activity packs that are fun, affordable, collectable, functional and educational.
Fun – the construction of a Box Ed is perhaps the most entertaining part. We’ve all got a little bit of the Dr. Frankenstein in us and constructing a Box Ed allows you to play out this fantasy. What could be more satisfying than creating a little person who doesn’t shout or burp or shriek or fart or giggle or make a mess!?!
Affordable – Box Eds have been designed to be cool and funky. Normally coolness and funkability come with big $$$ signs. However Box Eds have also been designed to leave you with plenty of change, and once on display your Box Ed will make you look like the coolest cat in the kitchen or the hottest dog in the diner!
Collectable – I often have vivid dreams of a world made with Box Eds! I have sketchbooks bursting with ideas for other characters, creatures and themes for you good, good people to collect and create more and more Box Eds!
Functional – The joy of a Box Ed isn't just in the crafting. Once constructed a Box Ed is an object of beauty to be idolised for doing what it does best, just being a Box Ed! However, a Box Ed isn’t just a pretty face, oh my giddy aunt no! It has hidden depths or rather obvious depths actually. It can be easily adapted to be used as storage for stationary, money or lollies. Box Eds can also be used as action figures and puppets for role playing and storytelling.
Educational – there is a slightly more serious side to all of this, I am a designer with some depth y’know! Box Eds introduce children to how 2D shapes create 3D shapes. The activity allows children to develop their fine motor skills by cutting, folding and sticking. It teaches them patience and accuracy, how to use and combine materials and gives them a real sense of accomplishment once completed. The inclusion of a blank template in each pack allows the creative freedom to design a unique, custom Box Ed.
