This is such a beautiful piece. I already own a bookmark from this shop and she’s the sweetest owner too. I can’t wait to wear this and get a bracelet next! So dainty and reminiscent of another time to me. The colors are all so complimentary and the details are so clearly stitched.

Valerie Evans is an embroidery artist known for her hand embroidered bridal bouquet portraits and sometimes snarky embroidery hoop art. The married, stay-at-home mom of two started Plaid Love Threads in 2015 after rediscovering the exciting world of embroidery.

A California native, she has traded in her guacamole for biscuits and sweet tea with her recent move to the Raleigh, North Carolina area. While she is loving her new life as a Southern lady, she longs to travel the globe with her husband, collecting souvenir thimbles along the way, and eventually retire to the English countryside.
