The Woolly Lion was created out of a love of all things yarn and fibre. Quality and colour are my main goals. To create new and unique and often OOAK items using a high quality of Canadian milled yarns and wool roving. Each one of my yarns is carefully hand painted with acid dyes to ensure brightness and colour fastness. I dye every skein as if I was the one who would knit with it. In this way I can guarantee a superior quality that I know my customers are happy with.

I started Crocheting when I was young. Like alot of people I gave it up in high school and started again in College. I taught myself to knit about 10 years ago and have been doing it ever since. I find passion in alot of art including painting, beading, and fiber. So i tend to rotate from obsession to obsession. about a year ago I started dyeing yarn. From yarn I started spinning and thus started dyeing spinning fiber. This summer i will be bringing Natural dyed yarns and hand dyed raw fiber. Some wonderful new things to look forward to. Enjoy!!
