Welcome to TILISSIMO! ( tile + issimo )

Nothing adds better a personal touch to a home than unique handmade accessories.

With this in mind I started creating tile coasters with decoupage technique using beautiful napkins I had collected over time (I have always collected beautiful paper of any kind!). It took a lot of patience to perfect this craft, but seeing the pattern becoming more fresh and alive under my brush thrilled me. Glazing them felt literally like glazing the cake.
Hobby turned into a passion, and passion into an obsession - I opened my Etsy shop once I realized I would be heartbroken if I ever stopped making them!

Each set is really unique because the pattern is never cut and placed in the completely same way. Of course, I am always on the hunt for beautiful paper napkins I can foresee becoming lovely coasters, especially vintage napkins that would otherwise disappear over time due to their fragile material.

Please note: due to the fact that I use paper napkins, all the sets in my shop are actually limited editions that cannot be reproduced and therefore won't be available for too long - I like to think this makes them even more special!

I LOVE MY PLANET AND WILL NOT HURT IT

I am happy to say that the materials I use are completely safe for the environment. It is very important to me. I clean my brushes with water only! All the glues and glazes I use are water based which makes them environment friendly without diminishing their quality.
