Per tutto il tempo che ricordo, ho sempre amato fare le cose. Che si tratti di disegnare, scattare foto o cucinare, sono più felice quando posso usare le mani per trasformare ciò che ho in mente in qualcosa di tattile.
Ho iniziato a fare pelletteria con la necessità di ridurre il peso che porto con me quotidianamente; solo l'essenziale. Voglio creare pezzi che offrano alle persone i mezzi per fare lo stesso - per viaggiare leggeri e vivere semplicemente.
Tutti gli articoli sono progettati e cuciti a mano dal tuo veramente. Utilizzo pelle di alta qualità di provenienza locale di Horween Leather Company, fondata dal 1905. Ogni pezzo viene tagliato manualmente, punzonato e cucito uno per uno con aghi per cucire a mano, filo cerato e molto olio di gomito.
Sebbene sia un processo più lungo della cucitura a macchina, credo che questo lavoro d'amore infonda un po 'dell'anima del produttore nel lavoro e renda ogni pezzo davvero unico.
For as long as I can remember, I've always loved making things. Whether it's drawing, taking photos, or cooking, I'm most happy when I can use my hands to make what's in my mind into something tactile.
I started making leather goods with a need to reduce the weight I carry with me daily; only the essentials. I want to create pieces which offer people the means to do the same - to travel light and to live simply.
All items are designed and hand-stitched by yours truly. I use high quality, locally-sourced leather from Horween Leather Company, which has been established since 1905. Each piece is manually cut, pricked, and stitched one-by-one with hand-sewing needles, waxed thread and a lot of elbow grease.
Though it is a more lengthy process than machine stitching, I believe that this labor of love instills a bit of the maker's soul into the work, and makes each piece truly unique.
