Original Post
Our team is still relatively new, so I doubt all of us have had time to click on each other's shops and blogs to see what each of our members are all about.
So why not get things started in here with some Hello posts?
And tell us a little about when and why YOU started loving bees!
Got any BEES in your shop? If so, share them!
We looooove bees in here!
Got any ideas for some great bee-related items for your store, but haven't had time to complete or need some feedback? We're here!
How about ideas that we can all do to help spread awareness of the CCD crisis? I've got a 3-in-1 page flier uploaded in the google group, but fliers are tricky since they can create waste- and helping bees means BEEing green too! So let's think of some more things we can do as a team :)

You mean, kind of like "frogs" .... you see frog lovers everywhere (at least I've noticed it) and maybe the bee will get her share in the spot light too. That would be good!
I think I saw a crocheted bee toy somewhere. I'll see if I can find the pattern and make a few for the kiddies to buy at the festival.
Samantha, did you see that B-movie (an animated film)? I saw it on DVD not too long ago and I thought it was really good. You know actors and musicians sure have a powerful way of raising awareness, don't you think?

Well, it's just me again, the worker bee. I can't be the Queen, because that's Samantha and I can't be a drone, because those are boys.
I had a good morning. My friend, Judy, and I decided to start an Arts & Crafts club here at the clubhouse where we live. She crochetes and does needlepoint and I knit and crochet. I made flyers and we braught some of our things to show and some to work on. There were only 4 of us, but today was the first meeting and we're hoping it will take off. It's a nice way of getting people together and share stories, etc. Eventually, as the group grows, we want to provide some refreshments and maybe a little back-ground music and once the heat dies down a little, we can all gather on the enclosed porch adjacent to the coubhouse. I feel good about this and I think it will turn out well.
Ok, I'm slacking a little today. I'm going to see what new movies are out on Vongo because they always add new movies on Fridays and I usually watch one or two to get my movie fix.
Hope to see some of you little busy bees later....bee good ;-)

Frogs happened to me, too! I loved them, and suddenly so did everyone else. Hehe.
I was working at my sans-internets job today, and then looking for houses/apartments in PA. I think we may have found a place though, but the bahstids can't take us until October 1. I think i might cry :P
So I'm having wine instead.
Also, I sent samples to the Sampler today! I hope they get the honeybee helpers some sales or at least some views, since the card I included with my samples included the etsy search for "beeteam."
where are our other honeybees?
I KNOW YOU'RE AROUND! i've seen you posting on the forums....
Don't make me come BACK THERE!!

Well here I am. I've enjoyed reading the previous posts. I just got done posting to the blog. etsyhoneybeehelpers.blogspot.com/
We just started harvesting honey this week and will be going to market next weekend.
Doris, I enjoyed your post about the swing under the Linden tree. Our bees get a large portion of the nectar they collect from linden trees here in Chicago. Linden mixed with clover is what our honey is mostly made of.
And thanks for the heart!
Samantha, I wanted to say the blog banner is wonderful!
About how I got hooked on bees? I was helping a great beekeeping friend install a new package of bees. You basically shake them into the top of the hive. I was so fascinated that I didn't want to close up the hive and leave them in peace. I just wanted to keep watching them.
Later he let me take care of one of his hives. I've been a beekeeper ever since.

Hello Samantha and One Honey...
I would love to try some of your honey, One Honey...mmmmm, I LOVE honey. Guess what? I clicked on that link you gave about Chicago's roof top beekeeping and it's all in French and I don't speak French. I wish I did.
If I didn't live in an apartment, I'd give beekeping a try, but as it is, I'll just have to plant some flowers and I like sunflowers because they're pretty easy to grow and very forgiving.
Have a wonderful evening!

Good morning all you busy bees....hope you're not stayint too far from the hive because you need to come here to report back once in a while so our Queen Samantha knows what everyone's up to ;-)
(I just love talking bee)....anyhow, Samantha, I think my neighbor (and friend) Judy might come with me to the HOney Bee Festival because she has quite a bit crocheted stuff that she wants to sell. I just hope we can transport everything because we'll be needing at least 2 tables and I don't have a pick up, but it will all work out....
Have a good day everyone!

One Honey, Thanks for the blog date! I always enjoy your posts :)
And glad that you like the blog banner. I had fun doing it!
I had a busy (bzzzz) day... My husband and I drove up to Harrisburg to check out some apartments. I'm so excited to move! But the place we found can't let us in till October. Boo.... So maybe I can find a month-to-month that can accommodate us until then!
Tomorrow I'll bee home and I can look around the yard for some honeybees! I got some great photos last weekend and will put them on the blog eventually :)
