Original Post

I know this subject has been discussed to death, but I'm having one of those crazy frustrating moments after having just found a mass produced clothing line on here. They've been on Etsy 2 days, and have over 7 pages of stuff. Saying they're a collective. Come on.

OK rant over, just needed to get that out. I already sent a flag e-mail, all that can be done I guess.

I've noticed other stores like that too. A zillon of the purses made in different fabrics and posted within a couple days of each other. Come on.

I sell mass-produced clothing dirt cheap and have gotten the OK from Etsy so I am very offended by this post.

Ick! I guess this is inevitable as etsy gets more popular.

I see lots of posts about this happening on etsy, but I've yet to come across it myself.

I haven't seen any of these shops yet, but I would be frustrated if I did.

bencandance - I knew it! I've seen that blue blazer and grey bowtie all over town! I think H&M did a version of it!

there seem to be more of these shops every week. Some of them seem like they are here to stay , others get taken down. Its too bad, we can not compete with this stuff, but apparently sweat shop is kosher on etsy now. I have given up on flagging and try to ignore, but it sucks when it buries you listings.

maybe they had a large inventory already built up, from selling for 5 years, so of course they can list that much in 2 days.
