Is amazing.

Just a tip! Especially with the holidays coming and all of the crazy mail traffic, I thought that some folks who'd not heard of it might want to keep this form in mind. I don't see too many other sellers or buyers talking about it here when a package seems to be slow or missing on US-bound domestic shipments.

Does anyone else ever use it? I have, about 4-5 times and it really helps. You have to ask for it at a PO counter and fill it out, and press hard! This sucker is a 3-page carbon copy form.

It gets filed with the PO where you put in the claim, the PO that took your package and with the local Postmaster.

Each time that I have used it, my package suddenly is found AND delivered within 24-48 hours.

For real.

Thanks for this great tip. I had heard that by going through the proper channels packages could be mysteriously found, but I had no idea what I would need to do. Thanks.

I have not heard of this! I wish they had a similar service for international.

Sure thing!

It's magical, I swear.

I wish that they had something similar for international packages too, but I guess that's hard to do logistically with at least 3 sets of agencies handling the packages.

I also wish that you could download it online, but like I said, it's still a carbon copy triplicate form, so you have to ask for it in person only.

Probably darn near impossible. But we can dream!

do you have to ask for it at the time of mailing? one of my customers sent me some fabric about a month ago, and the package went mussing.
Is it too late for her to go to her PO and fill this out to see where her fabric went?

wow that's great to know!! thanks! Hopefully I'll never have to use it, but it's great to know it exists!

Nope, you don't have to ask at time of mailing.
