It's almost time for the next Sneak Attack! Haven't heard about it yet?

Three days per week, an Etsy shop with few or no sales is chosen as a "victim,” and at a given time multiple buyers all visit the site and buy one or more items each, resulting in a whole slew of surprise business in a very short time. It’s a great way to give a big boost to a new Etsy shop!

This Friday's sneak attack will be at 7:00 PM EDT.

You can participate by going to www.handmademovement.com/ at or soon after 7:00pm the today and you'll see the chosen shop's name. Then go to that shop and purchase an item, making sure to include the words "Sneak Attack" in the "message to seller". The shop owners will also be informed of what is happening so they know just what is going on. Don’t worry about being too late for the attack! If the shop names are still up there, you can still go and make a purchase!

Even if you can't make a purchase you can still help by giving this thread an occasional bump and spreading the word.

We just started a thing called Sneak Attack Support Item. Basically, a group of us are dedicating certain items in our shops to Sneak Attacks - the money from the sales of those items goes directly to purchasing from future Sneak Attack "victims".

Found a tiny utility knife to cut with, but it's TINY (only about an inch long) and I just broke it! Looks like I'm going to have to resort to a hunting knife! Hope people like these little notebooks after all this! LOL

Son put the blade back in and I wrapped it with tape, so it might last a bit longer! Why oh why does everything have to mess with me! LOL

Oh, custom! You weren't around yesterday when I got the bright idea. I have a craft show this weekend, and wanted something promotional to hand out that was useful, so I'm making matchbook notebooks.

They are bigger than normal, though. I'm glueing my business cards to the back, and cute little pics of butterflies and such on the front!

Good morning, customecute. From a tiny utility knife, to a hunting knife? That truly is some creative cutting, michigan! Here's to the tape holding on the utility knife.
