Just thought I'd get some feedback about using quotes in artwork. From what I've garnered from the net...can be uncertain territory. And may be different in the U.S. (than in Canada, where I am).
I've always loved bringing words and images together, but in a commercial sense I don't want go down that road if problematic.
Does it matter if words of a living or dead person? Fictional or not? (If I did use a quotation, I would cite it as part of the work, but is that enough).

Thanks in advance :)
