I was just given a heads up by a wonderful etsy shopper that the website traderlou.com has my photos and descriptions for sale on their site and when checking it out, there are many of us there! They've stolen our photos AND our descriptions!

it's a yahoo site, I am contacting the company right now as well as yahoo to inform them of copyright issues with one of their websites. I suggest if you see your items and photos there you do the same.

I've their "about us" and they claim to partner with the respective craftsmen. Perhaps they are just selling something similar. ...I'm ever the optimist.

In any case I hope it all gets straightened out.

It would be nice if there were a way to protect our photos on Etsy. I know that some sites do not allow the "right click" on photos to save them. ...wondering if that's possible here. That way anyone legitimate (i.e, blogs, promoters, etc.) would need our permission to use our pics as we would need to send them the files.

my 2 cents...

They stole MY photos and MY descriptions. These are My designs, they cannot sell somethign similar. They are thieves, dishonest and downright pure scum.
