i know strong magnets can damage computer hard drives, monitors, camera equipment if they get too close. is this a problem with the magnetic clasps you'd use on a bracelet or necklace? i have no idea how strong or big it needs to be to hurt electronics.

something that small probably wont affect it too bad, i had a magnet tipped screwdriver sit on an external hard drive and nothing bad happened to it. Its not something i would do on a regular basis though.

You don't want to touch a magnet to most monitors or a hard drive. The keyboard/mouse doesn't care though, so it should be fine.

Something that tiny would likely not cause much damage anyway. I wouldn't wear it while handling a bare hard-drive, but for normal computer use - it should be just fine.
