Only hold something like that 2 days,, if you eat it cold.. if you reheat it well, as long as the chicken looks and smells ok 3 to 4 days,, that is just my rule of thumb.

I routinely keep the costco one around for up to 5 days. 2 dinners on non consecutive days + chicken salad for lunch. It's fine, really.

Yeah! It was a good ol' avocado on sourdough tonight! No chicken. LOL, Thanks all for helping me dodge that bullet!

concentric, I think it's been more than 6 days, I'm just not sure! I hate to waste food, HATE IT! But I have to be careful. :)

There's just two of us. We often buy a rotisserie chicken on Sunday, and eat it that day and on Monday. The last remaining bit we keep until Wednesday and mix it in with rice, noodles, or potatoes for a casserole.

We've done this for years and never had a problem.
