Pattern Description
This pattern provides instructions for making a pair of carpenter-style jeans for your Effner 13" Little Darling dolls. The jeans are a boxy, boyish cut, perfect for a boy or one of your active girls. They have front carpenter pockets, a hammer loop and tool pocket in the back, as well as back pockets, along with tiny belt loops and instructions for a matching belt.

This is a super versatile pattern. Instructions are included to make the jeans with either a FRONT or BACK closure.

You can choose to leave them as a solid denim, but I also provide instructions for sandwashing them to achieve a worn look.

Unless otherwise noted, seams are 1/4 to 5/16ths (7-8 mm).

Supplies
• Lightweight stretch denim or twill fabric.
• Thread in a coordinating color
• Schmetz double needle
• Snaps
• Hand needle (for sewing on snaps)

Sandwashing Supplies
• Pumice stone
• Plastic cutting board
• Bleach (Please check your denim for color-fastness before bleaching your items!)

Optional Materials
• Iron-on nailheads (available from www.dreamtimecreations.com) I use the 2mm size.
• Black or brown “pleather” & buckle (1/4 inch size)
• Glue gun & glue sticks for finishing belt
• Liquid Stitch fabric glue (helps with sewing on pockets & belt loops)
