Summary : The Fantastic Peregrinations of Sir Pebbleton takes the form of a book where everyone can discover the story of Sir Pebbleton's extraordinary journey, an intrepid and curious explorer who dreamed of mapping the world and discovering its secrets. A nature lover since his childhood, his passion for folkloric creatures really began when during a walk in the Scottish Lochs, young Thomas discovered what others would later call Nessie. The story takes place in a fantasized 19th century, the golden age of daring explorer expeditions. Like Darwin, Sir Pebbleton assembles a crew and sets sail to known but unexplored places, hoping to contribute to the knowledge of a modern world in the making. Exposed to the diverse cultures of lands then considered wild, Sir Pebbleton methodically records in his travel diary the fantastic flora and fauna he encounters there.

The book is really beautiful, with sublime boards, which make you dream! 😍 The quality is at the top and it really feels like you're facing a fantastic naturalist's notebook! 😍 Really, I'm thrilled! The pines are also superb and the illustation-dedication adorable! Everything arrived well packed, in very good condition and in a very short time (and even in record time at the post office, I got the package in two days which... Never happens when you live in Corsica... 😂). Vriament great! EDIT: Now that I'm almost done reading it, I find it even more whimsical! We are really immersed in the journey and adventures of the hero and his companions, and each destination has its little something special! A real delight! ❤️

Le livre est vraiment magnifique, avec des planches sublimes, qui font rêver ! 😍 La qualité est au top et on a vraiment l'impression d'être face à un carnet de naturaliste fantastique ! 😍 Vraiment, je suis aux anges ! Le pins aussi est superbe et l'illustation-dédicace adorable ! Tout est arrivé bien emballé, en très bon état et dans des délais très courts (et même en un temps record au niveau de la poste, j'ai eu le colis en deux jours ce qui... N'arrive jamais quand on habite en Corse... 😂). Vriament super! EDIT: Maintenant que j'en ai presque terminé la lecture, je le trouve encore plus fantatsique ! On est réellement immergé dans le voyage et les aventures du héros et de ses compagnons, et chaque destination à son petit quelque chose de particulier ! Un vrai bonheur ! ❤️

Arrived in time, superb book, I have not finished reading it, but the story is very pleasant, the drawings are beautiful! Me, who is a sculptor, it makes me want to realize all these mythical creatures !! Thanks also for the bookmark and the nice portraits of Duke Doggington and Kato and Nigri. I love it!!
