Sand Silk Scrunchie

This scrunchie is made with silk and dyed using chestnut to create a warm sand beige color. They are medium size and feature a cute little monogram label.. Dyed and sewn in our Detroit studio!

✽ Wraps twice around a ponytail and looks very cute on the wrist as an accessory.
✽ Measures 5" in diameter. Features a Rosemarine Textiles monogram woven label.
✽ Dyed using chestnut.

Our Process:
Each scrunchie is cut, dyed and sewn in our studio. We use the plant dye chestnut to create a warm sand beige color. Scrunchies are dyed by hand in small batches.

Care information:
Scrunchies can be hand washed using a pH neutral soap in tepid water. Lie flat on a towel or drying rack to dry. If the silk wrinkles, gently steam or hand wash and lie flat or hang dry. We recommend using Dr. Bronner's castile soap and hanging to dry.

Shipping:
We ship low waste and plastic free using recycled paper padded mailers.

Sustainably Crafted:
We utilize sustainability conscious practices to limit water wastage and recycle greywater for plant watering. We work with restaurants to collect food waste to create beautiful dyes from onion skins and avocado pits, as well as with florists to utilize leftover flowers from events.

All plant material is composted after dyeing. Rosemarine Textiles is committed to sustainable and ethical sourcing of all fabrics, dye materials and packaging. All packaging can be reused or recycled. Please feel free to contact us for any questions regarding our sustainability policies.

For bridal bouquets we recommend about 3 yards for a small to medium draping effect and 5 yards for a long dramatic drape. On a bridesmaid bouquet we use about 2.5 yards per bouquet - one spool should be enough for two bridesmaid bouquets. Boutonnieres use about 10"-15" of ribbon. For invitations we recommend estimating about 18" per invitation if tying around a card in a bow.

Your Rosemarine Textiles ready-to-ship order will ship within 3 business days. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will not be processed until the following business day. All orders are shipped USPS Priority and fully insured. Please notify us with any requests for rush shipment at a small fee.
