All The Earrings are made from either 100% solid 9k and 18K gold, 12k Gold-Filled or 925 Sterling Silver.

Generally all gold and gold-fill up to 14k and Sterling Silver can tarnish due to Oxygen and sulphur compounds mixing with moisture.
The tarnishing or oxidising is a reaction to the air/boxes where these are kept or the exposure to high amounts of chemicals such as perfume, hairspray, deodorants some creams and shampoos and cleaning stuff and detergents.

If this happens do not worry and get in touch and we will resolve the issue, alternatively just follow our care instructions below.

Tarnished/Oxidised Jewellery

You can wash out the surface tarnishing by either rubbing it off with a soft cotton cloth or jewellery cloth if you have one or you can use drops of mild, non-phosphate dishwashing liquid to warm water and wipe the tarnished part with the mixture using your fingers or a cotton swab. Dry them with a soft cotton cloth or allow it to lie flat and air dry completely and then once dry, you may polish it again with a soft cotton cloth or a jewellery polishing cloth for shine.
