D+JR’s Replacement Goose Down kit is brilliant. My down coat is super-warm, but its collar always seemed a little under-inflated. The 5-gram packet of 800+ goose down looks small but by definition it expands to 140+ cubic inches, and was perfect for what I needed. Results in photo. Pro tip: Down flies everywhere, so I only half-opened the plastic seal on the down packet and held it within an inch of the tweezer “entry point” on my collar for the transfer. Afterwards I used a Swiffer electrostatic dry sweeping cloth to clean up the filaments clinging to the coat’s black lining and nearby. Thanks D+JR!
