Created in 2018 in Villiers-sous-Grez (77), the Scara B workshop is an artisanal screen printing workshop. This technique, invented in China by the Song dynasty (960-1279), makes it possible to print on different media: paper, wood, plastic, textile...

The Scara.B is on the move and moves to Grez-sur-Loing in 2019 and then to Vaux-sur-Lunain in 2020 in a new, brighter and more spacious workshop to develop its activity.

Between personal creations and commissions, the Scara B is not bored.

Behind this little insect hides Sarah.

Born in 1993, she does not yet know that her destiny is to have her hands stained with ink. This is why she looked for herself during her studies in cultural mediation, between Dunkirk and Paris, and realized at the end of her degree that she had to start and create her own screen printing workshop.

Before that, Sarah trained in this technical profession at the Shlag Lab in Vitry sur Seine.
For months, his hands will mix colored inks, scrape and clean screen printing screens, and his eyes will marvel at the work of illustration, and tinting.

Since then, Scara B has created images, inspired by nature, the world of fanzine, or music.

Créé en 2018 à Villiers-sous-Grez (77), l’atelier du Scara B est un atelier artisanal de sérigraphie. Cette technique, inventée en Chine par la dynastie Song (960-1279), permet de réaliser des impressions sur différents supports : papier, bois, plastique, textile…

​Le Scara.B a la bougeotte et déménage à Grez-sur-Loing en 2019 puis à Vaux-sur-Lunain en 2020 dans un nouvel atelier plus lumineux et spacieux pour y développer son activité.

Entre créations personnelles et commandes, le Scara B ne s’ennuie pas.

Derrière ce petit insecte se cache Sarah.

Née en 1993, elle ne sait pas encore que son destin est d’avoir les mains tachées d’encre. C’est pourquoi elle se cherche lors de ses études en médiation culturelle, entre Dunkerque et Paris, et s’aperçoit à la fin de sa licence qu’elle doit se lancer et créer son propre atelier de sérigraphie.

Avant cela, Sarah se forme à ce métier technique auprès du Shlag Lab à Vitry sur Seine.
Pendant des mois, ses mains mélangeront les encres colorées, racleront et nettoieront les écrans de sérigraphie, et ses yeux s’émerveilleront devant le travail d’illustration, et de mise à la teinte.

Depuis, le Scara B créé des images, inspirées de la nature, du monde du fanzine, ou bien de la musique.
