Ciao a tutti!

Sono così felice che tu sia qui nel mio piccolo angolo ritagliato di Internet! Mi chiamo Kate e mi piacerebbe presentarmi un po' a voi.

Il crafting è solo la mia passione. Crescendo, ogni giorno dopo la scuola avevamo la stessa routine... spuntino (il mio go-tos allora - biscotti cracker animali con glassa rosa o biscotti Soft Batch riscaldati nel microonde), seguiti da compiti a casa, e poi tempo di creazione o gioco. La maggior parte dei miei giorni, ho scelto l'artigianato.

Mia madre teneva le nostre forniture artigianali sempre rifornite di reperti interessanti: bottoni, vernice, colla, nastri, tessuti, filati, carte, vecchie riviste ... la solita serie di forniture con alcuni oggetti casuali gettati dentro per buona misura, come vecchi cilindri di farina d'avena (ottimo per fare culle per bambole!). Era fantastica nel lasciarci stare, senza mai dirigere i nostri mestieri, incoraggiandoci fornendo qualsiasi altra cosa di cui potessimo aver bisogno (come scroccare per ottenere vecchi calzini quando insistevo per fare un pupazzo di calzini).

Avanti veloce di molti anni, e come ho iniziato a ricevere regali per le persone da solo, ho trovato un vero desiderio di crearli e renderli personali. Quella passione è ciò che ha dato inizio a questo negozio, per prendere quella stessa sensazione di voler fare le cose e renderle personali, ma condividerle con il mondo.

Quindi eccomi qui, a creare di nuovo, ma per te!

I’m so happy you’re here in my little carved out corner of the internet! My name is Kate and I’d love to introduce myself to you a bit.

Crafting is just my thing. Growing up, every day after school we had the same routine... snack (my go-tos back then - animal cracker cookies with pink frosting or Soft Batch cookies heated in the microwave), followed by homework, and then craft or play time. Most of my days, I chose crafts.

My mom kept our craft supplies always stocked with interesting finds - buttons, paint, glue, ribbons, fabrics, yarn, papers, old magazines... the usual array of supplies with a few random items thrown in for good measure, like old Oatmeal cylinders (great for making doll cradles!). She was fantastic at just letting us be, never directing our crafts, just encouraging us by providing anything else we might need (like scrounging to get old socks when I insisted on making a sock puppet).

Fast forward many years, and as a I started getting gifts for people on my own I found a real desire to create them and make them personal. That passion is what started this shop, to take that same feeling of wanting to make things and make them personal, but share it with the world.

So here I am, crafting again, but for you!
