Después de más de 30 años de manualidades creativas, debo decir que he acumulado una plétora de preciosos materiales para manualidades: cintas, telas, encajes, etc. He llegado a la conclusión de que debo empezar a vaciar mis cestos de almacenamiento de maravillosos artículos para manualidades. Así que aquí está mi tienda, esperando la purga, con la esperanza de inspirar a la próxima alma creativa que encuentre aquí algunas cosas preciosas de las que no pueda prescindir (como yo una vez).
Mis amores siempre han sido los estilos rústicos y descuidados. Con un toque victoriano, una pieza vintage con una historia secreta, ojalá la contara. Las piezas de tiempos pasados también son mis tesoros favoritos.
Ahora que estoy al final de mis 50, también estoy empezando a sentirme un poco vintage ;-), sin embargo, mi mente es siempre joven y siempre está pensando en la próxima cosa que hacer... nunca descansa. Si eres artístico, apuesto a que tus ideas y creatividad tampoco descansan.
Cuando visito ventas de propiedades o tiendas vintage, regreso a casa con algunos hallazgos especiales y, en ocasiones, los publico para la venta aquí, así como también nuevos hallazgos y piezas al azar que creo.
Así que ahora tengo que coger mis tijeras dobladas y crear la próxima maravilla que tengo en mente. ¡Hora de servirme una taza de té y enchufar la máquina de coser!

After 30+ yrs of creative crafting I must say I've accumulated a plethora of beautiful crafting supplies... ribbons, fabrics, lace, etc! I've come to the conclusion that I must begin to thin out my storage bins of wonderful crafty elements. So here my shop sits awaiting the purge, in hopes of inspiring the next creative soul who finds some pretties here, that they can't do without (like I once did).
My loves have always been shabby, farmhouse country styles. Throw in some Victorian flare, a vintage piece with a secret story - if only it could tell. Pieces from time long gone are my most sought after treasure hunts too.
Now in my late 50's I'm also starting to feel a bit vintage ;-) , however my mind is forever young and always thinking of the next thing to make... never at rest - if you're artistic, I bet your ideas and creativity does not rest either.
When shopping estate sales, or vintage shops I do come home with some special finds and on occasion I will post them for sale here as well as, new finds, and random pieces I create.
So now I must get to grabbing my bent scissors and making the next great thing envisioned in my mind. Time to pour a cuppa and plug in the sewing machine!
