A Modern Tapestry

Hi!
I'm Anita, the designer and artist behind ByBellaDesigns. I work from my home studio in Derbyshire, where I live with my young family and two cats.
Each modern tapestry is hand crafted on either a lap or floor stand loom and I spend many hours devoted to both the design and make process, mixing bold geometric patterns along with softer organic lines. My aim is to create unique contemporary wall décor for today's modern home.

Returns and exchanges
I gladly accept returns and exchanges
Contact me within: 14 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 30 days of delivery
I don't accept cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase then please contact me within 2 working days of receiving your goods. Your satisfaction is of the utmost importance therefore I will aim to resolve any issues you may have. However, if I'm unable to do so, then a refund will be offered. Items must be returned in their original condition first before a refund is issued. Please note the buyer is responsible for all shipping expenses (including return shipping costs).

Customised tapestries however are non returnable unless damaged during shipment.
Payment
I accept payments via Etsy direct checkout and PayPal.
Shipping
Items in stock will be dispatched within 5 working days.

For made to order items, please contact me at point of purchase for an estimated dispatch time. Such items are generally ready for shipping within 2-3 weeks, but depending upon size, customisation and pre orders, this timescale can vary. I will however keep you updated via email regarding the status of your order.

DOMESTIC
Tapestries now require a signature upon delivery via Royal Mail Signed For 2nd Class Service.

Once dispatched, you will receive notification including a unique reference number which can then be used to monitor the progress of your delivery online via the Royal Mail Track and Trace tool. Delivery generally takes between 3-5 working days but please be advised this could be longer.


INTERNATIONAL
To ensure your parcel arrives safely, all tapestries are shipped Internationally via Royal Mail International Tracked or Signed For Services where available UNLESS stated otherwise. Shipping upgrades will be offered for those listings that offer only standard shipping, which I would highly recommend.

Once dispatched, you will receive notification including a unique reference number which can then be used to monitor the progress of your delivery online via the Royal Mail Track and Trace tool. Delivery generally takes between 3-7 working days but please be advised this could be longer (4-6 weeks) due to your country's location, public holidays and customs handling.

SHIPPING UPGRADES
Domestic shipping upgrades are available and are available on those listings that offer only free standard shipping. I would highly recommend adding tracking to your order to ensure your parcel arrives safely.

METAL FRAMES
Standard International shipping offered which includes NO TRACKING. Please select delivery upgrade for tracked and insured postal service.

LOST & DAMAGED PARCELS WHEN SHIPPED ON A STANDARD POSTAL SERVICE
I cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged parcels whilst in transit on standard postal services. No refund or replacement will be offered. Please upgrade to a tracked service for such benefits.

WEAVING AND MACRAME YARN SUPPLIES
International tracked service now offered for all yarn supplies unless stated otherwise.

LOST OR DAMAGED TAPESTRY PACKAGES
Please contact your local post office in the first instance quoting your items postage reference number. Once your item has been declared lost by the postal carrier, please contact me and I will arrange for either a replacement or refund.

For items damaged in transit, again please contact your local post office at the first instance. Then, within 2 days of receiving your item please provide me with a detailed description of the exterior/ interior damage. I will then arrange for either a replacement or refund to be issued.

Due to the nature of my work and all items being handmade, please appreciate any replacement piece will attract a waiting time.

CUSTOMS
The buyer is fully responsible to pay all fees, including taxes, and duties associated with shipping items to their respective country. I cannot and will not be held responsible for additional custom fees or taxes charged. Please ensure you are fully aware of your own country's custom and handling legislation prior to purchase.

However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements.
