Hello! I am Carole, a self-taught artist based in the south-west of France.

All my life I have been an entrepreneur and artist. From the age of 5, I drew all the beings and all the things that I found beautiful and proudly, I offered them generously to my family and friends! Very quickly, too, I became passionate about rocks and the history of our planet; it is therefore natural that I pursued scientific studies to become a geologist. With my university degrees in hand and after a few years in business, I quickly created my technical design office that I managed for twenty years. After many years of protecting soil and water resources, I decided to catch my breath and retrain professionally. From my experience as a geologist, I have retained a great respect for the natural environment, but also human, which I have now chosen to manifest through art and writing. So in 2015, I opted for editorial assistance and personalized drawing for my second professional adventure; since then, I lend my pen and I make by hand, conscientiously and with great joy and love, calligraphy and portraits for the people who honor me with their trust.

In 2016, I felt the need to express myself through personal creations. I started by developing an artisanal card shop for the festivities that punctuate the year. Since the end of 2019, I have been designing and painting seasonal collections deeply influenced by the natural elements and aquatic landscapes with which I have the privilege of being surrounded. I sell my paintings in the form of prints on beautiful papers in order to make my art affordable to anyone wishing to embark on the creation of meaningful and sensitive gallery walls. Accessible also and above all to be able to change its wall decoration according to the seasons and moods!

Recently I manage to detach myself from my desperate quest for realism and perfection to finally fully embrace my creativity with all my imperfections and spontaneity. My abstract paintings, present in my shop in the sections entitled "abstract art", are a celebration of textures and organic natural forms through the filter of my creativity finally unbridled :)

Hello ! Je suis Carole, artiste autodidacte basée dans le sud-ouest de la France.

Toute ma vie j'ai été entrepreneure et artiste. Dès l'âge de 5 ans, je dessinais tous les êtres et toutes les choses que je trouvais beaux et fièrement, je les offrais avec générosité à ma famille et mes amis ! Très vite aussi, je me suis passionnée pour les roches et l'histoire de notre planète ; c'est donc naturellement que j'ai poursuivi des études scientifiques pour devenir géologue. Mes diplômes universitaires en poche et après quelques années en entreprise, j’ai rapidement créé mon bureau d’études techniques que j'ai dirigé pendant vingt ans. Après ces nombreuses années consacrées à la protection des sols et de la ressource en eau, j'ai décidé de reprendre ma respiration et de me reconvertir professionnellement. De mon expérience de géologue, j'ai conservé un grand respect de l'environnement naturel, mais aussi humain, que j'ai choisi de désormais manifester à travers l’art et l’écriture. C'est ainsi qu'en 2015, j'opte pour l'assistance rédactionnelle et le dessin personnalisé pour ma seconde aventure professionnelle ; depuis, je prête ma plume et je confectionne à la main, consciencieusement et avec beaucoup de joie et d'amour, des calligraphies et des portraits pour les personnes qui me font l'honneur de leur confiance.

En 2016, j'ai ressenti le besoin de m'exprimer à travers des créations personnelles. J'ai commencé par développer une carterie artisanale pour les fêtes qui ponctuent l'année. Depuis fin 2019, je conçois et peins des collections saisonnières profondément influencées par les éléments naturels et les paysages aquatiques dont j’ai le privilège d’être entourée. Je vends mes peintures sous forme de tirages sur beaux papiers afin de rendre mon art abordable à toute personne désireuse de se lancer dans la création de murs galeries signifiants et sensibles. Accessible aussi et surtout pour pouvoir changer sa décoration murale au gré des saisons et des humeurs !

Depuis peu je parviens à me détacher de ma quête désespérée de réalisme et de perfection pour enfin embrasser pleinement ma créativité avec toutes mes imperfections et ma spontanéité. Mes peintures abstraites, présentes dans ma boutique dans les rubriques intitulées "art abstrait", sont une célébration des textures et des formes naturelles organiques au filtre de ma créativité enfin débridée :)

Une nouvelle façon d'honorer la connexion qui unit mon esprit et ma main à la Terre !
