The story of an artist who wanted to make a living from her passion

"Hurry up to choose your path, after the baccalaureate you have to know what you want to do with your life!"

At 17, just thinking about it, I felt my belly tense up. What is my way, what is my way? Does the rest of my life depend on this decision I make today?
Well, I didn't know what I wanted to do but I knew one thing, I wanted to create my way. So I went to a DUT who would teach me Administrative and Commercial Management, in order to learn the basics of business creation.

I would see myself running a garden center, I love plants. I could bring together super original plants and create a shop of rare and graphic plants.
Except that once my DUT was in my pocket, in fact, I didn't really have more ideas on how to create your business. I didn't feel ready for this adventure at all, I needed to learn more.

"You have to go to business school! You'll see it's going to open a lot of doors for you and you can create your box super easily after that!"
Go for then.

Oh how I regretted this decision.
I felt like a sardine thrown into a sea of sharks, tossed around in the whirlpools, lost in the foam.
But in the trough of the swell I met Thominou and clung to him. If there is one thing I owe at this stage of my life, it is to have met my soul mate if not to have enjoyed my studies.
To stop seeing the sharks I decided to paint what allowed me to relax, and it was the animals that made me so happy and missed so much.

Dogs, cats, horses populated my thoughts as I rediscovered my taste for art and remembered that this practice had occupied so many hours in my childhood.
Thominou encouraged me to continue on this path, he was my first support and with him the sharks suddenly seemed much less threatening.

"In your opinion, it's better to have a good income in a field that you're not passionate about, or modest incomes by doing what you love the most?"
".... Are you seriously wondering? "
No.
I knew the answer, I wanted to know his because maybe it was a bad idea.
But he was on the side of what made me happy.

This is how my blog was born, almost at the same time as my Facebook page, and I executed with dedication and gratitude my first animal portraits on commission.
A few hundred portraits later, my YouTube channel was born. A few hundred videos later, my Instagram account arrived. A few hundred posts later, my Etsy shop popped up.

Here you will find my illustrations.
They are there to allow me to disseminate my creations at home, so that they brighten up your interior or that of your friends. So that they remind you that even when the situation seems very difficult, there is always a rock that can be clung to to escape the turmoil. Art allows us to travel, to escape, to focus on something happy and inspiring.

Thank you very much for your visit! I hope you have a nice time here :-)
