Sew in Love!
Sono un assistente sociale a tempo pieno che ha avuto la "risoluzione" che avrei imparato a cucire nel 2014. Il mio intento era quello di essere in grado di riparare le cose o di orlare i miei pantaloni (sono basso!). Quello che non mi aspettavo era di innamorarmi totalmente del cucito e condividere le mie creazioni con gli altri. Mi piace passare gran parte del mio tempo libero a cucire, pianificare, fare acquisti per le forniture, pensare a modi per riutilizzare oggetti comuni e pensare al cucito!
Ho una carriera soddisfacente ma fino a poco tempo fa mi mancava uno sbocco creativo. Fin dall'inizio, ho accumulato un set di abilità che può essere trasferito ad altri aspetti della mia vita e mi ritrovo a guardare tutto in modo diverso.
I'm a full-time Social Worker who had the "resolution" that I would learn to sew in 2014. My intent was to be able to mend things or to hem my own pants (I'm short!). What I didn't expect was to fall totally in love with sewing and sharing my creations with others. I enjoy spending much of my free time sewing, planning, shopping for supplies, thinking about ways to repurpose common items, and thinking about sewing!
I have a satisfying career but until recently I had been missing a creative outlet. Since beginning, I've accrued a skill set that can be transferred to other aspects of my life and I find myself looking at everything differently.
