La plupart des tapis de bureau sont un ajout de dernière minute. Un logo, un dégradé, quelque chose qui est vendu en grande quantité et qui en a l'air.
Je voulais quelque chose qui ait une véritable signification, posé sur mon bureau tous les jours. Quelque chose qui, si quelqu'un passe et me pose une question, me permette d'avoir une vraie réponse.
Ici, rien n'est laissé au hasard. Les contours, le mouvement, la couleur : tout est intentionnel. Cela reflète la réalité du travail bien fait. L'élan quand tout s'enchaîne parfaitement. L'incertitude quand ça ne marche pas. La satisfaction tranquille de construire quelque chose, qu'il s'agisse d'un projet, d'une entreprise, ou simplement de surmonter une semaine difficile.
Je travaille au Canada, de mon bureau, et je crée des espaces de travail pour les personnes qui réfléchissent réellement à leur environnement. Non pas que cet espace doive être parfait, mais parce que les détails comptent pour ceux qui y prêtent attention.
Chaque design est soigneusement sélectionné. Rien n'arrive ici par hasard.
Si cela incite quelqu'un à s'arrêter et à vous demander où vous l'avez trouvé, c'est exactement le but recherché.
Most desk mats are an afterthought. A logo, a gradient, something that ships in bulk and looks like it.
I wanted something that actually meant something sitting on my desk every day. Something that when someone walks by and asks, you have a real answer.
The designs here aren't random. The contours, the movement, the colour - it's all intentional. It reflects something real about how it feels to actually work. The momentum when something's clicking. The uncertainty when it isn't. The quiet satisfaction of building something, whether that's a project, a business, or just getting through a hard week.
I'm based in Canada, designing from my own desk, for people who actually think about the space they work in. Not because it has to be perfect, but because the details matter to the kind of person who notices them.
Every design is intentionally curated. Nothing ends up here by accident.
