What a beautiful assortment of fiber! They dye was quite unique and even prettier than what I expected. I would recommend getting an assortment package - it will be a lot of fun to use :-)

In love with all things fiber

My love of the fiber arts started at a young age. My Czech grandma taught me how to sew, embroider, knit, crochet, and tat starting around the age of seven years old. I loved crafting things with Grandma until I hit my teen years, at which time the only crafty thing about me was my ability to sneak cigarettes from my grandfather's coat pocket when he wasn't looking, lol. It wasn't until I became pregnant with my first child that I started knitting again (and quit smoking - yay!) A few years later, I learned how to spin my own yarn and started exploring different dyeing techniques. By that time I was completely hooked on fiber!

Hampton Artistic Yarns opened in 2008 and I've been having the best time making and sharing my creations. You can find H.A.Y. products at local yarn shops, trunk shows, Northeastern Fiber Festivals, and here on Etsy. Offerings include handspun yarn, hand dyed sock yarn and spinning fibers, Fair Trade imported sari silks, imported silk cocoons, and embellishments/notions for the fiber artist.
