Show and Sell.
Vintage items are little treasures from the past and adored by collectors. These fine china pieces are becoming increasingly rare, due to their fragile nature and many of these items are no longer in production.
Please note that the porcelain, pottery and china items are vintage. Age and usage related wear is to be expected, as are small manufacturing flaws, this is part of the charm of vintage pieces. Some of the pieces are 50 years old and even older, they should not be expected to be manufactured to the same standard as newly made items. Please don't expect perfection from vintage pieces. Flaws and defects visible to the naked eye will be clearly stated in the relevant listings and priced accordingly. Occasionally, defects that are only visible under magnification lenses might be missed.
I can't remember exactly when I started making jewellery but I do remember that it started when I was raising money for my school. I had actually started making greeting cards, but only my mum does that now. I slowly moved onto making jewellery and then making small trinkets and gifts. Only recently I had decided I would like to try making candles, it's quite difficult sometimes but it is fun. My mum wants to have her own little shop when she retires and she can sell all her greeting cards and trinkets, her own little business. But for now she sells all the items at her work to her colleagues who are keen to buy all of her cards. Occasionally she takes a few of my items in to show and sell people, again, they are all very eager to buy our things. Hopefully having an Etsy page will help widen our audience and improve sales, I'm so excited!
Recently I have branched into selling vintage china. My mum is an avid china collector and has lots of china inherited from my grandmother, she needs to clear some items to make way for new pieces in her ever expanding collection. So they are here for sale in my shop.
My mum helps make the needle felted animals and knits the baby bootees.
