Art Made from Scrap
Terwijl ze op zoek waren naar een uitlaatklep voor hun creativiteit, hoefden Darlene en Marty niet verder te kijken dan hun productiefaciliteit waar zowel hout als staal in grote hoeveelheden worden gebruikt, wat resulteert in "afval" materiaal. We wisten dat er een beter gebruik van dit materiaal moest zijn dan de schroothoop of stortplaats, dus besloten we om van het schroot schoonheid te maken. Zo werd "Iron and Other Rustic Arts" geboren.
Elk van onze stukken is met de hand gemaakt, met de hand gesneden en / of met de hand geschilderd. We zijn er trots op dat we de "cookie-cutter" -look van veel vergelijkbare soorten producten vermijden door nooit stickers, prints, stencils, vinyl of andere artistieke hulpmiddelen te gebruiken. In plaats daarvan gebruiken we onze handen en ons hart om echt unieke stukken te produceren die nog jaren kunnen worden gekoesterd.
While seeking an outlet for their creativity, Darlene and Marty had to look no further than their manufacturing facility where both wood and steel are used in large quantity, resulting in "waste" material. We knew that there had to be better use of this material than the scrap yard or landfill, so we decided to turn the scrap into beauty. Thus was born "Iron and Other Rustic Arts".
Each of our pieces are hand made, hand cut, and/or hand painted. We pride ourselves in avoiding the "cookie-cutter" look of many similar types of products by never using stickers, prints, stencils, vinyl, or other artistic aids. Instead we use our hands and our hearts to produce truly one-of-a-kind pieces that can be cherished for years to come.
