In 2020, I created the jewelry studio Laura Wnuk, based between France and Germany, between Toulouse and Berlin.
The idea is to create movement around a wearable object. Combinations and shapes multiply in order to create new possibilities, new jewels.
After a master in graphic design and fine art, I decided to build a jewelry brand inspired by my art work and my travels.
I create unique pieces, working with very small series, going from only one to maximum five copies of a jewel.
They are mostly made out of sterling silver and glazed français porcelain.
I pay particular attention to detail and look for the perfect balance between materials, shapes and colours.
Always handcrafted with love, my creations always follow my inspirations.
Far from fast fashion, I produce unique sculptural jewelry in porcelain and Sterling silver. They are meticulously made, polished, glazed and assembled by hand in my studio.
Graduated from Fine Arts and attracted by fashion, it is naturally that the creation of porcelain jewelry came to me. Composed of natural elements which offers delicacy and incredible solidity, porcelain allows the creation of pieces of great finesse. It gives an infinite possibilities of creation that I do not hesitate to exploit.
Halfway between art and fashion, I am inspired by sculpture, design, nature, my travels in Greece, and also Native American and Asian culture.
My jewelry is thought of as clothing on its own, more than an accessory, it is the outfit itself.
As a collector, I mix other materials and I am constantly looking for a balance between curves and lines. The composition between porcelain and the element which accompanies it must be in perfect harmony. It is a work where the refined and generous forms play with the singularity of each material.
This way, I magnify porcelain while breaking
the classic side it can have by mixing colors, shapes, materials in order to bring modernity while keeping this elegant and dazzling side.
