I'm Laura, I'm a freelance graphic designer and web designer.
For years I worked in the world of baby and family as an art director in a digital press company.

After taking the plunge to work on my own, the opportunity was too good to bring out some animals hidden in the depths of my computer.
My first drawings were the giraffe, the elephant, the whale and the fox.
By reworking them a little, I found this passion to create again. And one thing led to another, I drew other animals that have now come to life on my posters.

To create an animal, I start by making a few scribbles on my notebook, I look for its position, its expression with the help of photos of real animals. Then I draw them on my computer using drawing software.

My collection is not big but as soon as I find a moment to draw, I start! I could spend days there.

All my posters are customizable to make them unique. This choice forces me to have no stock and to print on demand. Therefore my selling prices may be a little above the competitors but my printing costs are certainly higher due to the small volume of printing.

Before going to print, I always send you an overview of your order in PDF format to have your agreement before printing.
I print my posters at a digital printer next to my house. They are printed on thick quality paper.

Regarding the shipments, I take care to wrap them in tissue paper with a little personal note, all packed in a rigid cardboard with 4 flaps for optimal protection.

Unfortunately, it has already happened that the poster is folded on delivery, the Post Office does not always pay attention to the packages. In this case, I invite you to take a picture of the poster and the packaging box and send it to me so that I can see the folds. I would return the poster to you taking the printing and shipping costs at my expense, but only once.

Moi c’est Laura, je suis graphiste et webdesigner freelance.
Pendant des années j’ai travaillé dans l’univers du bébé et de la famille en tant que directrice artistique dans une entreprise de presse numérique.

Après avoir franchi le pas pour travailler à mon compte, l’occasion était trop belle pour ressortir quelques animaux cachés au fin fond de mon ordinateur.
Mes premiers dessins étaient la girafe, l’éléphant, la baleine et le renard.
En les retravaillant un peu, j’ai retrouvé cette passion de créer à nouveau. Et de fil en aiguille, j’ai dessiné d’autres animaux qui maintenant ont pris vie sur mes affiches.

Pour créer un animal, je commence par faire quelques gribouillis sur mon carnet, je cherche sa position, son expression en m’aidant de photos de vrais animaux. Ensuite je les dessine sur mon ordinateur à l’aide d’un logiciel de dessin.

Ma collection n’est pas grande mais dès que je trouve un moment pour dessiner, je me lance ! Je pourrais y passer des journées.

Toutes mes affiches sont personnalisables pour les rendre uniques. Ce choix m’oblige à ne pas avoir de stock et d’imprimer à la demande. Par conséquent mes prix de vente sont peut-être un peu au-dessus des autres créateurs mais mes frais d’impressions sont certainement plus élevés dûs au petit volume d’impression.

Avant d’aller imprimer, je vous envoie toujours un aperçu de votre commande au format PDF pour avoir votre accord avant l’impression.
J’imprime mes affiches chez un imprimeur numérique à côté de chez moi. Elles sont imprimées sur du papier épais de qualité.

Concernant les envois, je prends soin de les envelopper dans du papier de soie avec un petit mot personnel, le tout emballé dans un carton rigide à 4 rabats pour une protection optimale.

Malheureusement, il est déjà arrivé que l’affiche soit pliée à la livraison, la Poste ne fait pas toujours attention aux colis. Dans ce cas, je vous invite à prendre en photo l’affiche et le carton d’emballage et me l’envoyer afin que je constate les pliures. Je vous renverrais l’affiche en prenant les frais d’impression et d’envoi à ma charge, mais une seule fois seulement.
