Handmade freedom
After business school, design school and a few internships, I first started making clothing to get rid of my fabric stock which was taking too much space (I started being a compulsive fabric buyer in design school...).
I just wanted to make a few of the same dresses in different fabrics. Then I thought I'd make the petticoats to wear underneath. And the jackets to wear over, and the tops to wear with them... And accessories...So I had to buy more fabrics (Yes!! ) .. And the vicious circle began :-)
10 years later, my fabric stock is absolutely huge, and taking a lot of space in my new 100m2 workshop / B&Mshop. I have made and sold hundreds and hundres of clothes and I have no intention of stopping there :-)
I tend to work the most with vintage fabrics, trims and buttons, which all have this special feel to them...
