This extra soul is the one that is brought by the irregularities, the asperities, the patinas of a natural material sublimated by the know-how of the artisanal shaping.

My name is Camille and I was trained in crafts in Paris and then in leather crafts in Brussels. In 2020, I come back to live in the South-West of France, where I come from and I found Maison Polin. After putting my know-how at the service of various orders and customers, I finally dare to give life to these ideas that were waiting in a corner of my head. This is the beginning of the adventure!

Artisan-designer committed to slow design, I work mainly with reuse materials. Thus, each object is born from the harvested material that I have at my disposal. This means that most items are produced in small series or as a single piece and can never be exactly reproduced. This makes them their singularity and their poetry.
The guiding line that guides each of my decisions for Maison Polin is MINIMAL + PRACTICAL + UTILITY + ARTISANAL + TIMELESS.

Ce supplément d'âme c'est celui qui est apporté par les irrégularités, les aspérités, les patines d'une matière naturelle sublimée par le savoir-faire du façonnage artisanal.

Je m'appelle Camille et j'ai été formée aux métiers d'art à Paris puis à l'artisanat du cuir à Bruxelles. En 2020, je reviens vivre dans le Sud-Ouest de la France, d'où je suis originaire et je fonde Maison Polin. Après avoir mis mon savoir-faire au service de commandes et clients divers, j'ose enfin donner vie à ces idées qui patientaient dans un coin de ma tête. C'est le début de l'aventure!

Artisan-designer engagée dans le slow design, je travaille principalement avec des matériaux de réemploi. Ainsi, chaque objet nait de la matière récoltée que j'ai à disposition. Cela signifie que la plupart des articles sont produits en petites séries ou en pièce unique et ne pourront jamais être exactement reproduits. Cela en fait leur singularité et leur poésie.
La ligne conductrice qui guide chacune de mes décisions pour Maison Polin est MINIMAL + PRATIQUE + UTILITAIRE + ARTISANAL + INTEMPOREL.
