My Art
My creative practice combines materials, form and movement as a language.
I explore the blending of the man-made and the natural through sculpture, puppetry, drawing, photography, writing and performance.
My artworks are made from objects which I have found in my immediate environment, alongside precisely crafted/machined metal and wooden elements.
I am fascinated by mechanical systems and how engineering principles can be used poetically to articulate feeling beyond utilitarian purpose.
I have made work collaboratively with artists such as Turner Prize Shortlisted Ingrid Pollard and my solo work has been awarded by the RA.
I am a visiting Lecturer at Kingston School of Art and teach puppetry at a number of Londons most highly regarded Performing Arts Schools.
I also regularly teach in the creative educational programmes of many organisations with members representing the autistic and learning disabled communities and physical disability communities.
