This is a fun pattern and resulted in a beautiful doll. I can imagine ways in which wire could be added to the limbs for older kids. The seller was very helpful and responded to my questions within two hours!

Hello!

Thank you for stopping by. My name is Carina, I live in the Netherlands. I'm married to a wonderful man, and we have a very active, six year old son named Joshua and a beautiful babygirl Anne-Lynn. I love my family :) When I'm not spending time with my kids, I love to crochet and design cute crochet toys. I feel happy when I crochet, I can do it for hours and hours and it never gets bored. Crocheting is also a way to relax for me.

The last few years I crocheted dolls for friends and their kids. At some point, I thougt "I want to make my own doll and choose my own yarn and colours". I worked hard, and Bobbi the bear was born! After him Boris and Binah the lions came, and after them Bea the rabbit. My last pattern is the bunny rattle. At this moment I'm working on a beautiful dove. I want to release it within a few months.

Every time I was crocheting a doll, my son said "poppa" when he was younger. Poppen is the dutch word for dolls, thats why I called my shop PoppaPoppen.

I hope you love the poppa-dolls as much as I do. Happy crocheting!
