Me encanta la palabra "indulto" porque me encanta el concepto detrás de ella. En pocas palabras, la palabra significa "dar alivio temporal a" algo o alguien.
El triste hecho es que la vida es difícil y vivimos en un mundo difícil y a menudo difícil. Personalmente, vivo para esos pequeños momentos de indulto. Esos breves descansos de sol entre lluvias.

People often ask me about my fixation with the word "reprieve." I've used it as part of my e-mail address for years, I included it in the name of my blog, and I've now used it in the name of my Etsy shop.
I love the word "reprieve" because I love the concept behind it. Put simply, the word means "to give temporary relief to" something or someone.
The sad fact is that life is hard and we live in a difficult and often trying world. Personally, I live for those little moments of reprieve. Those brief sun breaks between rain showers.
My shop logo is a frog sitting under a mushroom during a rain shower. To me, the image sums up "reprieve" in a nutshell. Sooner or later the little guy is going to have to go back out there, but for now he's found a safe, dry little corner to wait out the storm.
It's my sincerest hope that the items that I make and sell in my shop will bring smiles to the faces of others and help to brighten their days.
