Em 2006, mudei-me de uma cidade grande para uma cidade pequena. A descoberta mais incrível que fiz logo após a minha mudança foi que era possível andar entre lugares em vez de dirigir. Então percebi que havia tantas coisas para ver quando caminhava que nunca podiam ser notadas em um carro. E, eu realmente queria ter a minha câmera para capturar esta flor ou aquela sombra que eu nunca tinha visto antes. Então, comecei a carregar minha câmera onde quer que fosse, só porque não queria perder nada. Eu pensei que outras pessoas poderiam pensar que o que eu vi foi "muito legal" também, apesar do que minha adolescência disse. E eles fizeram. Então, estou empenhado em compartilhar meu encantamento com o mundo oculto, mas óbvio, que está ao nosso redor todos os dias. Espero que goste também.
In 2006, I moved from a big city to a small town. The most amazing discovery that I made immediately after my move was that it was possible to WALK between places instead of drive. I then realized there were so many things to see when walking that could never be noticed in a car. And, I really wished I had my camera to capture THIS flower or THAT shadow that I had never seen before. So, I started carrying my camera everywhere I went, just because I didn't want to miss anything. I thought other people might think what I saw was "really cool" too, in spite of what my teens said. And, they did. So, I am committed to sharing my enchantment with the hidden but obvious world that is all around us every day. I hope you enjoy it too.
